What meth residue is

Common signs

- Smoke alarms removed, covered or disconnected.
- Burnt foil, glass pipes or small plastic bags left behind.
- Unusual chemical smells.
- One sign is a reason to look further, not proof.
When testing may be worth considering
- Between tenancies.
- After you've noticed and recorded warning signs.
- Before buying or listing, or when an insurer asks.
Who to contact
- Your office and the owner: the owner decides on testing.
- An independent tester for testing.
- An occupational hygienist for formal clearance.
- A GP for renters' health questions.

- Don't touch anything. Leave straight away.
