Course Terms & Refunds

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Nature of courses

SafeTrace Academy courses are non-accredited professional development. They are not nationally recognised training and do not lead to a qualification or licence. Certificates confirm completion and, where stated, a passed practical assessment.

Certificates

Certificates are current for 12 months from completion. Annual refreshers are available. Certificates may be revoked if obtained through misconduct or breach of these terms.

Your own business and insurance

Graduates operate under their own business, their own insurance and their own professional judgement. Completing a course does not make you an employee, agent, contractor or representative of SafeTrace, and does not entitle you to use the SafeTrace name or logo except to state that you completed the course.

Practical days

Attendance requires appropriate clothing and footwear as advised. You must follow the trainer's safety instructions. The trainer may stop your participation if your conduct is unsafe.

Prices

Prices are shown as plain amounts.

Cancellations and refunds

[Refund and transfer policy to be confirmed by Jana — e.g. notice period for practical day transfers and refunds.]

Australian Consumer Law

Our courses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to courses

We may update course content to reflect current guidelines and legislation.
