Our commitment
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice.
What we collect
Name, email, phone, role, organisation and the details you enter in our forms (founding list, register interest, free mini-course, in-house training enquiries, contact form); account details and course progress, quiz results, practical day bookings and certificates if you enrol; payment confirmation details if paid courses are enabled (card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us); basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
Why we collect it
To send the resources you request, provide and administer courses, issue and verify certificates, respond to enquiries, send Academy updates where you have consented, and improve our website and courses.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails with your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us.
Certificate verification
If you complete a course, anyone who enters your certificate number on our verification page can see your name, course title, completion date and certificate status. This is how employers and clients confirm a certificate is genuine.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, store data, process payments and send emails, and only as needed for those services, or where required by law.

Our website, database and email providers may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected.
Security
See our Security page for how we protect your information.
Access and correction
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Keeping your information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including keeping certificate records so certificates can be verified, then delete or de-identify it.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
